Data Maven is proud to announce the release of the Use of Psychedelic Substances in the United States report showcasing results from the 2024 National Survey Investigating Hallucinogenic Trends (NSIHT). This report was prepared in collaboration with Rocky Mountain Poison & Drug Safety (RMPDS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). This landmark study provides one of the most comprehensive looks at psychedelic substance use among adults in the United States, offering critical insights to inform safety, research, and policy.

With more than 60 years of experience advancing toxicology, pharmacovigilance, and public health, RMPDS is widely recognized for its leadership in improving access to care and protecting communities. For the NSIHT project, RMPDS partnered with Data Maven to bring data to life through clear, visually engaging design.

Data Maven, and partner Emily Aldrich of Aldrich Design, provided data visualization and graphic design support, transforming complex survey results into an accessible, reader-friendly report. The collaboration with RMPDS was grounded in trust and shared expertise — RMPDS viewed Data Maven as an extension of their team, valuing our partnership and attention to detail as they developed their first comprehensive data report. The final product reflects a true joint effort that balances scientific rigor with design clarity.

At Data Maven, we take pride in collaborations like this — where data and design work hand in hand to tell meaningful public health stories. As a women-owned public health consulting firm, our mission is to transform complex data into actionable insights that empower public health professionals, policymakers, and communities to make informed decisions that improve lives.
